Hi everyone! As you may know, we already sent out Backerkit's invitation to all backers. Unfortunately, some of you claim you didn't receive it yet, so lets try to fix it:

• The invitation will be sent to the same mail you used to back this Kickstarter. Make sure you're checking the correct address.
• Spam folders are hungry beasts. More often than not, these invitations end up there. 
• If all else fails, reach out to us and we will resend your invitation. 
• If you need to change your email, drop us a DM with your current mail and the mail you want us to send the invitation to.
• If you are still having trouble, or if you have any other questions regarding Backerkit or technical issues, please reach out to the project's Backerkit support team:

We'd also like to answer to those of you asking how long will Backerkit remain open. We don't have an exact date, but it is safe to assume it will remain open until we are ready to ship the physical orders (so by the end of the year).

Regarding shipping fees: these are not ready yet. We can't give you the exact amount until the physical items are in production, as shipping is based on product weight. However, you can check the estimates Free League gave us, located by the end of the project's main page.
 

 

The Fomoria Backerkit is OPEN

We're finally ready to open the gates to the Fomoria Backerkit post-campaign pledge manager. This is an important step, and we need you all to log in and finalize your pledge, provide us with shipping information, and pay for shipping. If you want to add more stuff to your pledge, this is also the place to do that. 

Not only that, but if you know someone who wanted to back the Fomoria Kickstarter, but couldn't, or just missed it, this is their chance to join as a late backer! Share this link and help them join the fun:

How does this work?

You should have received an email from Backerkit with a link to the pledge manager. Just click on that and follow the instructions, and you're golden. If you don't see an email straight away, give it some time: sometimes it takes several hours for Backerkit to send these automated messages out. And sometimes, they end up in the spam folder, so it might be a good idea to take a look there too if you can't find it. 

Smoke test sent, Backerkit opening soon

Hi everyone! Just a quick update to let you know we sent out a smoke test that will help us make sure everything works fine with Backerkit's pledge manager before opening it to everyone. This means a few of you have received a mail inviting you to complete your shipping info on Backerkit. 

You will also be able to upgrade your pledge or add any add.ons you'd like. Those who backed the Darkness Cabal edition will have 20USD credit to be used either to purchase more add ons or to cover shipping. This is to cover the pricing mistake we made in the Kickstarter.

After we make sure everything works fine, we will send the survey to every backer, and the Backerkit pre-order store will be open for everyone who missed the Kickstarter. We will update you when all is ready to go!

 

IMPORTANT: Payment issues

Hi everyone! Just a quick reminder, as there are still some people who didn't get their payment issues solved. In most cases, this happens when your bank blocks automatic payments from certain regions as a security measure, and you can solve it by simply giving them a call to authorize the payment, or authorizing it manually. 

This week, Kickstarter will automatically cancel all pledges with these issues, which is not a big deal for most since you can grab the goodies later in the preorder store when the pledge manager opens, but if your order has any of the limited rewards we can't guarantee that you get to keep them, since other people will be able to add them to their order once any pledge containing them is cancelled. 

That's all on this matter, wish we could help you more, but since it's an issue with your bank we can't do anything about it.

The Kickstarter comes to an end, and thanks to 3191 people we are making Fomoria happen! We are working nonstop on this, and on a good speed I must say!

We will soon have a Backerkit pledge manager available, so you will be able to either late pledge, or adjust your pledge. We will update you as soon as it's up and running! 

Some of you have received a message from us regarding an issue with processing your payment. Please, check your inbox to see if it's your case, since Kickstarter will cancel your pledge if you don't solve it in the following week. Normally this happens because of the payment request being from a different part of the world, so your bank blocks it by default. To solve it you just need to give them a call and allow the transaction. If your pledge is cancelled you will be able to order it again in Backerkit, but we cannot guarantee any limited goods you had will be still available. 

Regarding the Foundry VTT stretch goal, we didn't reach it but the original creator of MÖRK BORG's free Foundry VTT system is working over at our Discord server to have a free bare bones edition ready for you all. This is not an official Fomoria VTT system, it is a community effort, but we may work on that in the future. 

As for the solo rules, we know lots of you wanted them to happen, but it is not something we will do for now. The reason they were so high in the stretch goals list is that they would require huge extra efforts from both of us, as well as bringing someone else to help us convert the game to solo play. We want to focus on finishing the game as it was originally envisioned, and maybe after that we'll put together the solo rules. Regardless of it, the community is always welcome to put that together themselves, just like it happened with MÖRK BORG, as we will share a similar 3rd party license.
